Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Mumbai. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the procurement of goods and services, developing purchasing strategies, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring high-quality and cost-effective purchases. Duties include monitoring inventory levels, maintaining good relationships with vendors, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing purchasing strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain management and logistics
  • Proficient in inventory management and purchase order preparation
  • Ability to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Experience in the retail or manufacturing industry is a plus
