Reporting To: IT Manager / IT Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Executive to support daily IT operations. The ideal candidate will manage user onboarding/offboarding, IT asset handling, user account administration, cybersecurity tools, and provide technical support across the organization. This role ensures efficient, secure, and seamless IT services for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

  1. User Onboarding and Offboarding

Set up new user accounts and system access as per company policies.

Configure hardware, software, and access rights for new hires.

Ensure secure deactivation of accounts and access during offboarding.

Collect and reassign IT assets from exiting employees.

2. Asset Management

Maintain and update records of IT assets (laptops, desktops, peripherals, software licenses).

Track asset allocation, usage, and ownership.

Conduct periodic audits of IT hardware and software.

Coordinate asset repairs, replacements, and procurement.

3. User Account & Access Management

Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in Active Directory, Office 365, and related systems.

Ensure compliance with security and access protocols.

Support MFA setups, password resets, and access-related issues.

4. Cybersecurity & IT Tools Management

Manage and monitor Sophos Firewall and Sophos Antivirus for network and endpoint protection.

Respond to, analyze, and resolve security alerts or incidents.

Manage support tickets through tools like ServiceNow or Jira.

5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Provide Level-1 support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Troubleshoot OS, software, and basic network issues.

Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 support teams.

Assist with software installations, updates, and system configuration.

6. Day-to-Day IT Operations

Monitor overall IT infrastructure and end-user systems.

Support internal IT projects, upgrades, rollouts, and deployments.

Prepare IT process documentation, SOPs, and incident reports.

Collaborate with other departments to address IT requirements.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in IT Support or IT Operations.

Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.

Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and asset management tools.

Working knowledge of Sophos Firewall and Sophos Antivirus.

Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar).

Basic understanding of networking, printers, and peripheral devices.

Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.

Work Environment

Office-based role with occasional remote support requirements.

Fast-paced IT environment requiring a proactive and responsive mindset.
