Job Title:


Sr.Engineer - Design (Rooftop PV)



Job Description:


Detailed designing & execution of Large Roof top projects.
Evaluate and qualify new technologies and vendors.
Prepare pre-bid preliminary and post-bid detailed engineering Design.
PV plant energy assessment PVsyst and shading scene simulation.
Review/Prepare PV plant related General Arrangements (GA) ,Array layout, Cable routing layout,Electrical SLD,Shading layout,module layout, Bill of Materials(BOM) etc.

•Calculation of Cable sizing, system Power loss, Voltage drop calculations ,Earthing calculation,

•Site feasibility study/visits includes client existing electrical system, finalize DC & AC cable route,Inverter & Equipments location etc.

•Handle site operations,working with contractors & subcontractors and ensuring the Installation & project completion as per schedule.
.
•Maintaining record and documentation of work and material at site and regular reporting.

•O&M supervision of the project
.
•Shadow analysis using sketch up,helioscope,using Sun azimuth & altitude angle.

Candidate Attributes:


Well versed in PVSyst, AutoCad, Google Sketchup for making 3D model,helioscope etc
Mandatory Roof top Design engineering experience, Non-solar design profiles are not required.
Must have handled designing for multiple large roof top projects
