Position Overview

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Optimum's server and end-user infrastructure and work on initiatives to enhance the performance, reliability, and security of assets on the Amazon cloud.

The position is based in Noida, India and will collaborate with infrastructure and Infosec team members based out of Optimum's other locations (Ahmedabad, India and Los Angeles, USA).

Key Responsibilities

· Configuration and support for end-user devices and installed software.

· Provisioning, configuring, and monitoring equipment on the Amazon cloud.

· Maintaining an inventory of all infrastructure, including (but not limited to) cloud and end-user hardware (laptops etc.), software licenses, certificates etc.

· Researching newer techniques and technologies and proposing initiatives for improved performance, reliability, and security of assets on the cloud.

· Planning and implementation of approved initiatives in collaboration with application delivery and information security teams.

· Administration of O365, Windows and Linux servers.

Desired qualifications and experience

· Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2 – 5 years' experience working with on-premises and cloud infrastructure; or other qualifications with demonstrable equivalent skills.

· Good English language communication skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
