Profile Overview:

We are seeking a highly competent and results-driven Purchase Executive with proven experience in the construction industry, specifically in the procurement of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) and PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-driven material sourcing to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers for MEP and PEB materials.
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and orders in accordance with project requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct price comparisons, commercial evaluations, and negotiations to achieve cost savings.
  • Collaborate closely with the project, engineering, and site teams to forecast and plan material requirements.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials in alignment with project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier performance, and material specifications.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new suppliers, and evaluate alternative materials or solutions.
  • Ensure all purchased materials comply with required quality standards and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with the accounts and logistics departments for payment processing and delivery schedules.
  • Adhere to company procurement procedures, ethical standards, and compliance guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Commerce, or Supply Chain Management.
  • 3–6 years of experience in procurement within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP and PEB materials, market rates, and supplier base.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and ERP-based procurement systems.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
