We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong domain knowledge in the manufacturing industry. This role will primarily focus on designing, configuring, and deploying solutions in SAP Business One while contributing to the evolution of our team's expertise towards SAP S/4HANA for larger and more advanced projects in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Business One modules relevant to manufacturing operations, including production, inventory, purchasing, sales, and finance.
  • Conduct detailed requirements-gathering workshops with business stakeholders and translate business processes into effective ERP solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications for necessary customizations and work closely with technical teams and partners.
  • Configure and test SAP B1 modules according to best practices and approved functional designs.
  • Provide practical expertise on manufacturing industry standards such as BOMs, production orders, MRP, inventory management, and basic costing.
  • Support master data setup, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
  • Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Must have a solid understanding of SAP Business One core functional areas, including purchasing, Inventory, Production, Sales, and financials, with the ability to design and support processes aligned with traditional SAP domains such as MM, FICO, PP, and SD
  • Assist in defining processes that will lay the foundation for future adoption of SAP S/4HANA.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6 to 9 years of strong SAP consulting experience, with at least 3 years focused on SAP Business One or equivalent ERP for manufacturing.
  • In-depth understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, including procurement, production planning, inventory control, and quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, inventory flows, BOMs, routings, and work centers
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills for SAP-related issues.
  • Proficient in documenting business requirements and translating them into SAP functional solutions.
  • Relevant SAP certifications (B1 or S/4HANA) will be an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification in relevant modules is a plus.
  • Background in discrete manufacturing industries such as automotive, industrial equipment, or electronics.
  • Familiarity with the integration of SAP with MES or plant automation systems.
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
