Role & responsibilities

GAP Inc. is seeking a skilled **Incident Analyst** to join our Asset Protection Bridge Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in security operations with a strong understanding of physical and information security in a corporate environment. This role involves monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency operations to ensure the safety and security of our stores & facilities.

What You'll Do:

Supervise Alarms/Calls/VMS/Surveillance:

  • Supervise Security alarms, Video Surveillance, Access Management
  • Follow established protocols/SOPs and provide guidance or assistance as needed.
  • Conducts ongoing reviews of multiple systems and sources to detect potential risks

Emergency Calls:

  • Handle emergency calls, provide appropriate responses, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prioritize calls based on urgency to ensure timely and effective incident resolution.

Health Check of CCTV/Integrated Devices:

  • Oversee regular health checks of CCTV cameras and other integrated security devices conducted by analysts.
  • Identify and address technical issues or malfunctions, coordinating with IT or maintenance teams for resolution.
  • Maintain a tracker of service tickets and their ETAs related to Integrated Security Systems.

Tracking Events:

  • Oversee real-time event monitoring by analysts and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  • Maintain detailed logs of events, including time, location, incident nature, and response actions.
  • Prepare and present incident reports/brief

SOC Mailbox Supervision:

  • Oversee the mailbox, monitoring incoming emails, messages, or notifications related to security incidents and requests.
  • Ensure emails are triaged promptly, responded to, or escalated as necessary.

Generate Reports:

  • Create reports on security incidents, alarms, calls, and other operational activities to document performance metrics, trends, and significant events.

Task Assignment:

  • Complete various tasks and projects assigned by leads or management.
  • Participate in training programs as assigned by management.
  • Assist team leads with updating reports & documents as relevant to reflect current practices.
  • Ensure reports are clear, comprehensive, and accessible to relevant team members. raining programs as assigned by management.

  • Report generation, presentations and documentation
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Security operations expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, CCTV and Access Tech monitoring
  • Enthusiastic about learning and using OSINT tools
  • Should be comfortable working within a lean working with globally distributed teams

Preferred candidate profile

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or related field
  • Proficient with computers and various technology platforms
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly
  • Knowledge of physical security, information security, and emergency operations, preferably in a corporate setting
  • Experience with access control and alarm monitoring systems
  • Familiarity with video surveillance, physical access control, incident management, and risk intelligence monitoring tools
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
