Data Owner Lead

As a Card Data Owner Lead within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you will drive business growth and improve the Chase customer experience through data. You will ensure data quality and protection while collaborating with Product Owners, design leads, and technology leads to deliver data that meets business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Create plans for product data development and delivery to support strategic business objectives.
• Provide subject matter expertise on data content and usage within the business.
• Identify and document critical data scope, ensuring proper classification and metadata.
• Support analytics projects by identifying data for integration into analytics platforms.
• Document and coordinate resources for data quality requirements.
• Resolve data issues promptly and influence resources for timely resolution.
• Develop processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks.
• Manage compliance with Firmwide policies and standards for data integrity and protection.
• Build strong relationships with data delivery partners and consumers.
• Manage execution of milestones, mitigating risks and inefficiencies in product development.
• Track and manage workstreams and KPIs for successful deliveries.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 10+ years of industry experience in a data-related field.
• Experience managing delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Subject matter expertise in business or product data
• Technical knowledge of data management, engineering, pipelines, modeling, architecture, and governance.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google, or Azure, and big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Alteryx, Snowflake.
• Ability to manage delivery timelines and ensure organizational goals are met.
• Proven ability to execute via internal partnerships.
• Structured thinker with good business acumen and effective communication skills.
• Understanding of Agile technological development methodology.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Credit Card domain knowledge is a plus.
