Job Title: Admission Counsellor

Reports to: Principal

Role Overview: The Admission Counsellor serves as the first point of contact for prospective parents and students. The role is pivotal in articulating the school's mission, global vision, ethos and unique educational experience to parents from diverse backgrounds. By guiding families with warmth, professionalism and integrity, the Admission Counsellor ensures a seamless, transparent and memorable admission experience for parents.

Brief of Duties and Responsibilities: -

· Act as the first point of contact for all admission-related inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, website, online leads).

· Counsel prospective parents and students on curriculum, facilities, policies and fee structure.

· Ensure that all applications and forms are complete, accurate and compliant with the school admission policies.

· Guide parents through the complete admission process, including eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, and timelines in accordance with CBSE norms.

· Coordinate and conduct campus tours, orientation sessions, and student interaction/assessment processes (where applicable).

· Ensure proper documentation by maintaining accurate records of inquiries, applications and admissions in the school's database, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

· Track and follow up on leads systematically to support conversion from inquiry to enrollment.

· Build and maintain a supportive and positive relationships with parents to promote trust, satisfaction, and long-term engagement with the school.

· Support admission-related events such as open houses, orientation programs, school fairs and community outreach initiatives.

· Prepare daily/weekly reports on inquiries, follow-ups and admissions for the review.

· Keep updated knowledge of competitor schools, fee structures and market trends to strengthen school positioning.

· Represent the school at community outreach initiatives.

· Liaise with administrative and transport teams to support the smooth integration of new students into school system.

· Act as a bridge between the parents and the school management, addressing queries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications & Experience: -

· Educational: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Essential). Master's in management / education / psychology (Preferred)

· Experience: 2–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, or customer relationship management (preferably in a school, college, or education sector).

Key Skills & Competencies:

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Persuasive and empathetic counselling abilities.

· Patient and capable to handle complex inquiries

· Committed to confidentiality and ethical practices in all interactions.

· Good command of English and Hindi (written and spoken).

· Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and online communication tools.

· Basic data management and reporting skills.

Selection Process

· Initial screening/interview with HR

· Final interview with Principal & School Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹35,000.00 per month
