Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled API Tester with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our APIs in our Udaipur Office. The ideal candidate should be proficient in tools and frameworks such as Postman, RestAssured, and TestNG, and capable of designing and executing effective test cases to identify issues early in the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute API test cases for RESTful services (manual and automated).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of APIs.
  • Create and maintain automation scripts using RestAssured and TestNG.
  • Use Postman for manual API testing, validation, and test collection management.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and QA team members to understand API requirements and expected behavior.
  • Analyze API responses, verify data integrity, and log defects in tracking systems.
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in API testing (manual + automation).
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTP methods.
  • Proficiency in Postman, RestAssured, and TestNG.
  • Good understanding of JSON, XML, and API request/response structures.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, or Maven is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
