Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (10 Years Experience)

Location: Factory

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in industrial mechanical maintenance, the successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment across various industrial sectors. This position requires expert knowledge in reading technical drawings, understanding complex mechanical systems, and ensuring precision in all installations and repairs. You will work both independently and as part of a team to maintain the safety and efficiency of industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assembly & Installation: Install, align, and assemble complex mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment, ensuring precise tolerances and functionality.
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to reduce downtime.
  • Equipment Modification: Modify existing equipment or systems to improve performance, reduce energy consumption, or adapt to new operational requirements.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, quality specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Project Management: Lead projects and coordinate with team members to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion. Oversee junior fitters and provide mentoring/training when required.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all installations and maintenance work are carried out safely to prevent accidents or injuries.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Complete work reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven experience as an Industrial Fitter or similar role in an industrial setting.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues quickly.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other departments.

  • Additional Skills:

  • Experience with CNC punching machinery, powder coating, HPB, Hot press, Honey comb expander, glue coater etc.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems troubleshooting.
