Incorporated in 2020, Capwise is one of the fastest-growing investment banks based in Mumbai. We have closed 35 equity and M&A transactions and raised 22,000 cr debt. Role Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Associate to join our Investment Banking division, focused on M&A and fundraising transactions. The Associate will play a critical role in leading transaction execution, managing client deliverables, supervising analysts, and supporting deal origination. Key Responsibilities Lead transaction execution across M&A and equity mandates including due diligence, financial analysis, and process management.Drive preparation of pitch books, IMs, transaction models, and client presentations.Manage end-to-end deal processes including coordinating with clients, legal advisors, consultants, and investors.Build and review detailed financial models and valuation analyses (DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction).Mentor and supervise analysts in preparing models, research, and presentations.Conduct market, industry, and company-specific research to support strategic advisory.Contribute to business development by identifying prospects, preparing proposals, and supporting client engagement initiatives.Maintain updated databases on transactions, investors, and industry benchmarks. Qualifications MBA (Finance), CA, or CFA (cleared or pursuing) from a reputed institution.4–6 years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and deal structuring.Excellent presentation, client communication, and negotiation skills.Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with a high attention to detail.
