Role Purpose:The Assistant Manager - Partnerships will play a pivotal role in securing funding, managing donor relationships, and supporting end-to-end grant management. This position involves strategic collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising targets and amplify the organizations impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Fundraising & Donor Engagement:
- Identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with domestic and institutional donors (CSR, foundations, HNWIs).
- Lead proposal development, including budgeting, narrative drafting, and alignment with donor priorities.
- Manage donor accounts, ensuring compliance and timely reporting.
- Strategy & Planning:
- Contribute to annual income/expense plans and regional fundraising strategies.
- Map funding opportunities and prioritize partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with program teams to design impactful projects and ensure smooth grant handovers.
- Support grant negotiations and troubleshoot implementation challenges.
- Team Leadership:
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.
- Represent the organization in external meetings and networking forums.
- Budget Responsibility: Assist in regional budget development and tracking.
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
- Education: Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Work, or related fields.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in fundraising, business development, or partnerships (non-profit/corporate sectors preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong proposal writing and donor management skills.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Analytical mindset with a results-driven approach.
- Collaboration: Builds trust and partnerships across teams.
- Innovation: Develops creative solutions to funding challenges.

- Adherence to child protection policies and ethical fundraising practices.
