Store ManagementReceive, inspect, and store all fabrics Machinery and Parts Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/Excel.Issue materials to production departments as per requirement.Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage conditions.Conduct daily/weekly/monthly stock reconciliation and prepare reports.Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.Purchasing & ProcurementSource and purchase raw materials, spares, tools.Prepare purchase orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.Evaluate vendor performance on price, quality, and delivery timelines.Negotiate rates, credit terms, and supply contracts.Maintain procurement MIS and documentation.CoordinationCoordinate closely with production, quality, and accounts teams for material planning and GRN (Goods Received Note). Liaise with transporters for smooth material handling.Communicate stock shortages and purchase status to management.Inventory & DocumentationUpdate material movements in ERP/Inventory software.Maintain GRN, stock register, purchase register, and goods issue notes.Handle physical inventory audits and maintain accurate reports.Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.Cost & Quality ControlEnsure quality compliance for all incoming materials.Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor comparison.Avoid overstocking or material wastage through proper planning.Skills & QualificationsEducationB.Com / BBA / Diploma / Graduate (specialization in Supply Chain preferred).Additional certification in Stores/Inventory/Purchasing is a plus.Technical SkillsKnowledge of fabric machinery/ denim machinery ERP systems,MS Excel, stock reporting, and documentation.Soft SkillsStrong communication and negotiation ability.Time management, record-keeping, problem-solving.Ability to work independently and in factory environment.Experience1–5 years experience in store or purchase department in textile/fabric manufacturing industry (preferred).
