**A. JOB SUMMARY**:
The CAD CAM programmer will be responsible for programming, optimizing, and executing machining operations using 3D CAD/CAM software, ensuring precision and efficiency in production.

**B. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **CAD/CAM Programming**:

- Develop and optimize 3D CAD models and CAM programs for 5-axis CNC woodworking machines.
- Utilize advanced CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths, ensuring high-quality finishes and dimensional accuracy.
- Troubleshoot and refine CNC programs for efficiency and error-free execution.
- **Machine Setup and Operation**:

- Coordinate with machinists and operators to set up 5-axis CNC machines for production.
- Validate program accuracy by running simulations and first-off inspections.
- Adjust machine parameters and tooling as needed to achieve desired results.
- **Tooling and Process Optimization**:

- Enhance machining strategies to minimize waste, cycle times, and costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Research and implement the latest machining techniques to improve efficiency.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address any production inconsistencies or defects.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with the design and production teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Provide feedback to designers on manufacturability and suggest design improvements where necessary.
- Maintenance and Documentation**:

- Maintain an organized library of programs, tool setups, and machine parameters.
- Ensure all CNC programs are up-to-date and stored securely for future use.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.

**C. KEY QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Experience**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in 3D CAD modelling and CAM.
- Must have Experience in a manufacturing

**Skills & Expertise**:

- Strong knowledge of simultaneous 5-axis CNC machining principles materials.
- Proficiency in generating complex 3D toolpaths for intricate designs.
- Familiarity with CNC controllers
- Quick learning skills
- Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and precision.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in woodworking is added advantage

**D. EDUCATION**:

- Batchelor’s/diploma in engineering or specialized cad training

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
