Job Summary:
Live Medical Scribes are essential members of the healthcare team, working directly with physicians to document patient visits in real time. Scribes use electronic health records (EHRs) to capture the physician's interactions with the patient, including the patient's chief complaint, history of present illness, physical exam, assessment, and plan. Scribes also document any orders or prescriptions made by the physician.
Live Medical Scribes play a vital role in improving the efficiency and accuracy of patient care. By documenting the patient visit in real time, scribes allow physicians to focus on providing care to the patient without having to worry about typing or charting. Scribes also help to ensure that all relevant information is accurately documented in the patient's EHR.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Live Medical Scribes are those who watch live conversation between doctor and patient and accordingly prepare Medical Notes. Please do not line up Medical Scribe who does not possess experience of Live Medical ScribeAttending patient visits with the physician and documenting the visit in real time (not more than 1.5X efficiency) using an EHR system, preferably EPIC or eCW.Enter patient information, including the patient's chief complaint, history of present illness, physical exam, assessment, and plan.Document any orders or prescriptions made by the physician.Review and revise documentation for accuracy and completeness.Maintain confidentiality of patient information.Comply with all HIPAA and other applicable regulations.Perform other duties as assigned by the physician or supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Applicant must possess experience as LIVE MEDICAL SCRIBE of minimum 2 years or above. Please do not line up Medical Scribe who does not possess experience of Live Medical ScribeWilling to work in regular night shifts (9:30 hours per day) from an office-based location in Mohali, Punjab. 5 Days a week job.Excellent typing skills (60-70 WPM with 95% Accuracy).Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.Strong attention to detail and at least 97% quality while making medical notes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
