**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer at Istya in Kolkata. The Fashion Designer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with creating and designing ensembles and also dealing with clients. The Fashion Designer will work closely with the creative and production teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and product quality.

**Qualifications**
- Strong grasp of fashion design, including knowledge of current and upcoming fashion trends, especially in women's ethnic wear.
- Merchandising, Sales and Customer Relations are a must
- Deal with clients, order fulfilments, production and customizations
- Help the designer with marketing, photoshoots and PR related activities is a plus
- MS office to maintain datas and orders would be great
- Handle all Kaarigar and other production activities, including tailoring, dyeing, etc.
- Experience with different types of embroideries, patterns, tailoring, and fabrics to create high-quality garments
- Expertise in fitting and garment tailoring for optimal fit
- Proficiency with design software or hand sketching (Optional)
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 3 or more years of experience with some other designer label in women's ethnic wear
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and native language

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus
