Qc Assistant

**Job Title: QC Assistant - AAC Block Manufacturing**

**Location**: Umargam, Gujarat
**Experience**: 2-6 Years
**Industry**: Building Materials / AAC Blocks / Construction Materials
**Salary**: Up to ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
**Education**: Diploma / B.Sc. / B.Tech in Civil / Chemistry / Material Science

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in daily quality inspection of AAC blocks during production
- Conduct tests such as density, compressive strength, moisture content, and dimensional accuracy
- Monitor raw material quality (fly ash, cement, lime, gypsum, aluminum powder, etc.)
- Maintain QC documentation, test records, and daily quality reports
- Report any deviations or quality issues to the QC Engineer / Manager
- Ensure implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for QC
- Support production teams in maintaining product consistency and reducing rejections
- Coordinate with lab technicians and external agencies for advanced testing when required
- Ensure compliance with BIS/ISO/IS standards related to AAC block production

**Required Skills**:

- 2-6 years of experience in **quality control** in the **AAC block** or **building material** industry
- Knowledge of **testing procedures for AAC blocks**:

- Basic understanding of **cementitious materials and chemical compositions**:

- Proficient in **record keeping and QC documentation**:

- Familiarity with **IS codes** related to AAC block production
- Attention to detail and strong observation skills
- Willing to work in shifts and manufacturing environments
- Diploma in Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering
- B.Sc. in Chemistry / Material Science
- Prior experience in **AAC block plants** or related manufacturing units
