Field Service Technician

**Responsibilities**
- Perform on-site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, including gearboxes, drives, mechanical seals, VFD etc. to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers, operators, and maintenance personnel on equipment operation, troubleshooting procedures, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and inspections on equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment as necessary.
- Coordinate service visits and schedules with customers, service coordinators, and internal teams, ensuring timely response to service requests and adherence to service agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory levels, and replenishment needs, coordinating with the parts department to ensure the availability of required components for service tasks.
- Document service activities, including service reports, work orders, and inspection findings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction with service outcomes.
- Conduct training sessions for customers and internal staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols to enhance their technical skills and capabilities.

**Qualifications**
- Degree or technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in field service engineering or related technical field, preferably in an industrial environment with hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Excellent customer service skills with a customer-centric approach, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and effective communication in all customer interactions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues, develop solutions, and implement repairs in a timely manner.
- Flexibility to work independently in diverse environments, including remote and challenging conditions, and willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures, prioritizing safety in all service activities and promoting a culture of safety among customers and colleagues.
