Plastic Injection Moulding Supervisor

Responsible for the production and quality of products, completing daily reports for production and payroll reporting purposes. - Responsible for maintaining/enforcing safe working conditions, and ensuring that all Environmental Health and Safety and OSHA regulations are met. - Schedules and directs leads, utilities, and mold changers in the Molding Department. - Works with production control to obtain molding requirements. - Monitors production, inventory, and minimizes scrap in the department. Works with the Molding Manager to continually improve the molding process. - Works on maintaining the Methodology of Lean Manufacturing in the department. - Trains all personnel in the department. Ensures that all personnel are trained with the help of trainers and leads. - Reports all department and personnel issues. - Resolves personnel issues in accordance to Company Policy Guidelines. - Troubleshoots and resolves molding processes. - Inspects and updates all set up sheets. - Keeps department running with minimum down time. - Continuously looks for ways to reduce costs in the department. - Maintains department ISO procedures. - Works with the Molding Manager to maintain Preventative Maintenance (PM) program. - Keeps the Molding Department in order through 6S standards. - Schedules and directs mold changers through quick mold change (Quick Die Set Up) methodology. - Continuously improves manufacturing operations through the use of lean enterprise practices and 6S principles throughout manufacturing. - Keeps manufacturing equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; works with the Molding Manager and maintenance personnel to maintain PM system.

Works with mill department on plastic issues. - Produces quality parts as outlined by the Molding Manager and Quality Control. - Works with all shifts to ensure smooth transitions and communications. - Informs the Process Engineer of any mold or molding issues. - Works with Maintenance on any press issues to ensure minimum downtime. - Ensures that required production forms are completed and delivered to the proper departments. - Must attend the daily production meeting at 8:30 a.m. - Must attend the weekly supervisors meeting at 5:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. - Must attend the weekly maintenance meeting. - Must record and update employee calendars. - Ensures 6S Audits are performed and issues quickly corrected. - Must be involved, and may assist workers, on everyday functions related to molding concerns. - Supervises daily molding areas including: satisfying internal quality customer requirements, ensuring reporting production transactions are accurately logged, and send finish goods, and WIP product to correct locations. - Performs other duties as required at the discretion of management

Proven leadership qualities in alignment with Mission Rubber Company principles and core values. - Proven skills in all aspects of rubber product manufacturing. - Ability to write, read, understand and edit manufacturing procedures, work instructions, schedules, part numbers, and descriptions. Basic computer skills. - Able to interact with all the other departments for instructions. - Must work as a team, listen to other supervisors for suggestions, and then delegate these instructions to team leaders; making sure that everyday responsible

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Plastics injection moulding: 6 years (preferred)
- technical moulding machine: 6 years (preferred)
- Supervising: 3 years (preferred)
