Job Description:
- 8+ years of experience in trade finance domain, with 3+ years in OBTF functional roles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for trade finance
products.
- Analyze existing processes and perform gap analysis against OBTF’s standard
functionality.
- Understand and analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and prepare
detailed Functional Specification Documents (FS)
- In-depth understanding of trade finance instruments and their end-to-end lifecycle.
- Experience with OBTF product configurations, screen flows, and functional setup.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SWIFT message types (e.g., MT7xx & MT202)
- International trade finance standards (UCP, URDG, INCOTERMS)
- Ability to write BRDs, FSDs, and other functional documentation.
- Liaise with trade finance business teams to understand and document detailed
requirements.
- Conduct gap analysis between client business processes and OBTF standard
functionality.
- Define and document functional specifications for enhancements, customizations, and
integrations.
- Configure trade finance products and services in OBTF.
- Set up rules for product workflows, charges, accounting, and validations.
- Work with technical teams to translate functional designs into technical deliverables.
- Develop and execute functional test cases for unit, integration, and UAT phases.
- Prepare and execute test scenarios for functional testing.
- Assist users during UAT and ensure business requirements are met.
- Provide post-go-live support and user training on OBTF modules.
- Advise stakeholders on process improvements and system usage best practices.
- Provide training to users and create end-user documentation.
- Document process flows, user manuals, and training materials.
- Ensure compliance with international trade finance standards.
