Position : Mat Forming Operator

Experience : 3 to 6 Yrs

Qualification : Diploma, ITI

Location : Chennai.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

The operator is to control Forming of wood chips which is supplied to the pressing process, which is essential to the quality of the finished product, Whilst ensuring health and safety practices.

**Duties and Responsibilities;**

Maintains accurate and complete manufacturing records.

Monitors and operates Forming equipment responsible and efficiently to assure compliance with documents and standard operating procedures.

To contribute to the internal communications networks and process.

To develop strong working relationships with team members.

Is alert to stop any machine process and/or operation to minimize lost time and avoid further problems or breakdowns

Able to coordinate with other departments to achieve each other goals

Assisting with maintenance teams to prevent downtime and breakages.

Assist maintenance teams when required.

Ensure Knowledge sharing with others for cross training purposes.

Is familiar with all different functions off the team and how they affect each other in the manufacture process.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor.

Participate in process development programs to achieve an efficient process.

Ability to problem solves.

Any problems to communicate to the Supervisor.

Impeccable housekeeping standards as per Standard operator procedures.

Ensure proper operating requirements for continuous process manufacturing.

Attention to detail and the exacting fibre manufacture specification adhered to.

Ability to use tools as some small maintenance job will be a required to under taken.

Liaison with Laboratory, Furnace and Press operator to ensure refiner manufacture specifications are achieved.

Able to comprehend trend analysis and fault find.

Perform all operational duties.
