System/ Server Admin

**Position: Sr. System Administrator L2 (Vikhroli)**

Experience: 4+ yrs relevant hands-on experience.

**Skills**:**Server**:

- Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems.
- Configuration of servers, operating systems administration, hardening, load balancers, processes, resource contention, preventive

maintenance and management of updates & patches to ensure that the system is properly updated

Re-installation in the event of system crash/failures
- Periodic health check of the systems, troubleshooting problems, analysing, and implementing

rectification measures.
- Implementation and maintenance of standard operating procedures for maintenance of the Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement new technologies, tools, and system enhancements to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Implement and maintain system security measures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior system administrators and help desk personnel, assisting them in resolving complex issues.
- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation.
- Perform system backups and disaster recovery planning to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
- Upgrade/ patching of systems with new releases and models time to time.
- Configure and Maintain Server scaling and High Availability & Disaster Recovery

**Backup**:

- Plan, deploy and administer the backup system hardware and software.
- Ensure backups are run to schedule and retention is met.
- Verify all full backup jobs.
- Maintain an audit trail of config, backup and restore tasks.
- Provide reports on job success/failure. Raise event alerts for failures.
- Perform file restore operations as required.
- Including proof of concept and backup solution design.

**Preferred Skillset**:

- Microsoft Windows Server, VMware
- Internet Information Server
- PowerShell & other Server-side Scripting
- LDAP/ AD Management
- DNS, DHCP Management
- SAN, NAS Management
- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning tools, and the ability to optimize system performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automating routine system administration tasks.
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices and experience with IT service management processes is desirable.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong understanding of system administration principles, practices, and tools, including operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, and server virtualization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- UAT and production Server maintenance
- IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.

Certification preferred:
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
