**Title**: Sales Manager, Ferrous & Heat Transfer, Metals

**Introduction**: To lead and manage all sales activities and execute the business plan for the ferrous and heat transfer business line in Market Area Middle East & India

**Main Responsibilities**:
Manage the Ferrous & Heat Transfer customer base in designated region/ MA Middle East & India and maintain key customer relationships at CapEx investment project/senior plant operations management level.
Business lead generation
Ferrous & heat transfer sales funnel management and pre-selection/prioritization of leads & opportunities
Lead Sales Cases and manage the Opportunity (refer separate slide for Sales Management & Governance), generate and maintain sales plans
Market Intelligence and strategy input from regional perspective
Provide ferrous and heat transfer technology support for sales and services teams in the market area utilizing internal and external network
Cross-BL and cross-BA sales collaboration in support of overall business development and growth
Sales case support for other Metals BLs as required within the team

**Accountabilities**:
Ownership of ferrous and heat transfer sales performance in MA Middle East & India, measured by direct financial and non-financial performance metrics (month/quarter/year)
Execute ferrous and heat transfer business plan in MA Middle East & India in full alignment with global ferrous and heat transfer strategy.

**To succeed**:
Min. 10 years’ experience in the minerals/metals processing industry
Proven business and industry understanding
A track record in developing sales opportunities and closing business
Customer mindset
Services business understanding
Academic background in technical/engineering disciplines
Ability to effectively work with others in a matrix organization from a range of cultures within a diverse political, economic, technical, and social environment.
Regular travel as required

This position reports to Head of Sales & Proposal Management - Ferrous & Heat Transfer
This position will be based in Kolkata or Gurgaon.
