**Job Summary**:
The Volvo Bus Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Volvo buses, ensuring optimal vehicle performance, safety, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. The role involves managing a team of technicians, scheduling maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring efficient workshop operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Maintenance & Repair Management**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance operations for Volvo buses.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults, and oversee necessary repairs.
- Ensure the use of genuine Volvo spare parts and proper tools for repairs.

**2. Team Supervision & Training**:

- Manage a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct training sessions on Volvo bus systems, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Assign tasks based on technician skill levels and job priorities.

**3. Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Volvo service standards and local regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and audits to maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

**4. Inventory & Budget Management**:

- Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement as needed.
- Optimize maintenance costs by minimizing breakdowns and unnecessary repairs.
- Ensure proper documentation of expenses related to maintenance operations.

**5. Reporting & Communication**:

- Prepare and present maintenance reports, including fleet performance metrics and downtime analysis.
- Liaise with operations and fleet management teams to ensure buses are road-ready.
- Communicate with external vendors and service providers when required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in bus/truck maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Volvo bus maintenance procedures and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in using maintenance software and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to lead a team and manage workshop operations efficiently.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Prior experience working with Volvo bus fleets.
- Certifications in automotive diagnostics and maintenance.
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

**Work Environment**:

- Workshop and field-based work with exposure to mechanical equipment and vehicle operations.
- Occasional travel may be required for training and inspections.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
