**Job Summary**

The Volvo Driver Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering driver training programs to ensure safe, efficient, and eco-friendly operation of Volvo trucks. The role involves assessing driver skills, conducting training sessions, and providing ongoing support to enhance driver performance while adhering to regulatory and company standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Driver Training and Coaching**:

- Conduct classroom and on-road training sessions for drivers, focusing on Volvo trucks' features, safety, and operational techniques.
- Provide coaching on defensive driving, fuel-efficient driving, and the proper use of Volvo technologies (e.g., I-Shift, Dynamic Steering, etc.).
- Ensure drivers understand and comply with company policies and road safety regulations.
- **Performance Assessment**:

- Evaluate drivers' skills through practical tests and observation.
- Provide constructive feedback to drivers and develop personalized training plans.
- **Fleet Optimization**:

- Train drivers on the efficient use of Volvo telematics systems for monitoring vehicle performance and improving fuel efficiency.
- Analyze telematics data and suggest improvements to enhance driver performance and reduce operational costs.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure training programs align with local, regional, and national transportation regulations.
- Keep records of driver training and certifications for audit and compliance purposes.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Liaise with fleet managers and HR teams to identify training needs and schedule sessions.
- Prepare detailed reports on training outcomes, driver performance, and areas for improvement.
- **Continuous Learning**:

- Stay updated on Volvo’s latest truck technologies, safety features, and industry trends.
- Attend workshops and certification programs to enhance training methods.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Proven experience as a driver trainer, preferably with Volvo vehicles.
- Valid heavy vehicle driver’s license (e.g., CDL or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of Volvo truck operations, features, and telematics systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Ability to create engaging training materials and presentations.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, fuel efficiency techniques, and vehicle maintenance basics.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Certification in driver training or transportation safety
- Experience in fleet management or logistics.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
