**Job Description: Senior Electrical Supervisor**

**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Supervisor to oversee all electrical installations and operations for a large-scale residential project spanning 5 lakh square feet. This role requires hands-on leadership in managing electrical systems, teams, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and project timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project Management & Supervision**
- Supervise and coordinate all electrical installation activities across the 5 lakh sq. ft residential development
- Plan, organize, and monitor electrical work schedules to ensure timely project completion
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and ensure compliance with approved designs
- Coordinate with civil, plumbing, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Monitor progress and prepare regular reports for project management

**Team Leadership & Development**
- Lead and manage a team of electricians, technicians, and junior supervisors
- Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure optimal workforce utilization
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
- Evaluate team performance and recommend training or development needs

**Quality Assurance & Safety**
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with IS codes, local regulations, and safety standards
- Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective measures
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain incident-free work environment
- Coordinate with safety officers and participate in safety audits

**Technical Oversight**
- Oversee installation of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and protection systems
- Manage installation of residential electrical components such as switches, outlets, distribution boards, and metering systems
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide technical solutions
- Ensure proper testing and commissioning of all electrical systems

**Administrative & Coordination**
- Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and project progress
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely availability of electrical materials
- Liaise with electrical consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities
- Prepare and submit statutory compliance reports and clearances

**Required Qualifications**

**Education**: ITI (Electrical) or 10+2 with relevant electrical training

**Experience**: Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience in electrical installations, preferably in residential or commercial construction projects

**Technical Skills**:

- Thorough knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and specifications
- Experience with residential electrical systems and equipment
- Understanding of electrical testing and commissioning procedures

**Leadership Skills**:

- Proven ability to lead and manage electrical teams effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience in large-scale residential projects (3+ lakh sq ft)
