Banking - M&a Analytics: Deal Intelligence - Officer

The incumbent will be a part of the Mumbai based M&A Analytics team, which is a Citi M&A initiative aimed at organizing and disseminating M&A deal content on a real time basis. The Mumbai team, in collaboration with the New York M&A team, monitors and analyzes the Global M&A space. The profile primarily includes maintaining high quality client-ready proprietary M&A data and analytics, creating theme-based presentations and trend-based analysis on the M&A market._ **Role Outline/Job Summary** **ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Core Responsibilities:_ - Preparation of client ready thematic materials - Engaging with Deal Teams in in a Pre pitch environment to help produce bespoke content highlighting Citi's performance. - Post Deal Analysis of different types of M&A i.e. Hostile, Going private etc. - Scan the M&A space for new opportunities - Maintain proprietary information on M&A trends in Sector/Region - Partner with global M&A business execution colleagues on strategic initiatives to drive Citi's performance. - Key Deliverables / Day-to-Day Responsibilities:_ - Prepare M&A information leads for global business heads and senior management - Source M&A information and provide insights on various trends and themes in the market - Create and update client ready presentations - Analysis of M&A information as a derivative to other M&A related materials - Help manage track and improve Citi M&A's wallet share **QUALIFICATIONS** Required - Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA **_ Experience:_** **Prior Experience in Investment Banking or M&A Analytics** - Skills:_ - Analytical skills: To interpret, analyze, summarize and present information - Exposure and prior experience with Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc. - Good understanding of Investment Banking and specifically M&A - Research Skills: To source, read and comprehend information on M&A deals - Knowledge of Financial terms - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail & ability to take sound judgment - Ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Respect for information confidentiality**Job Family Group**: Business Strategy, Management & Administration - **Job Family**: Business Administration - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
