CloudHire, a remote employee provider that sources globally, is seeking a talented Data Architect. Looking for an individual who can build and maintain data architecture, data models, and conceptual data designs. In this position, you will work closely with our clients and remote teams around the world to ensure we provide the best service. **Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data architecture for various clients
- Build and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Develop data governance policies and procedures
- Work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure data architecture aligns with business goals
- Design and implement data storage solutions
- Optimize database systems for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with software engineers to implement data-related solutions

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of Proven lead level experience as a Data Architect or similar role
- Must have experience working on Postgres, Redshift, AWS / EC2 / S3

(AWS solutions architect certification is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and Hadoop
- Understanding of cloud-based data solutions and services
- Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities are necessary to work in a remote and global environment
