Store and Logistics Executive

1 Year experience

**Warehouse Management**:

- Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and stock control to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Implement and enforce safety standards and best practices to create a safe working environment.
- Optimise warehouse layout and space utilisation to improve efficiency and minimise handling time.

**Inventory Control**:

- Monitor inventory levels regularly and implement inventory control measures to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and implement strategies to reduce holding costs.

**Logistics Management**:

- Coordinate the transportation of goods, both inbound and outbound, to ensure timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
- Monitor and track shipments, ensuring they reach their destination on schedule.
- Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts and rates.
- Resolve transportation-related issues and handle any delays or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Implement and optimise logistics strategies to streamline processes and reduce operational expenses.

**Process Improvement**:

- Continuously review and improve logistics and warehouse processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement new technologies and systems to automate and optimise operations.
- Analyse data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.

**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and production to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to address any issues related to the supply chain.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

**Salary**: ₹13,500.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
