- Documents server design run books and mentors other with less experience
- Possess a detailed understanding of server hardware components, including blades, enclosures and/or physical servers (Cisco, HP and DELL hardware)
- Complete Hands on experience on installing, configuring, and managing VMware environments - vSphere ( 6.5, 6.7 & 7.0 )
- Experience in writing batch and shell scripts for automation and information gathering - PowerCLI or Powershell
- Participate in the execution of Disaster Recovery exercises and own specific server tasks - SRM and Zerto
- Knowledgeable with network design, components, and systems interactions
- vROps or any other monitoring tool knowledge is must
- Should be ITIL certified and have hands on experience in ServiceNow ticketing tool
- Basic NSX-T knowledge is a must
- vCloud Director and Nutanix or any other hyper converged tool knowledge will be preferred
- vRealize Automation(vRA) and vRealize Orchestrator(vRO) will be preferred
- VMware 6.x or 7.x certification preferred
- Horizon View (VDI) knowledge will be an added advantage
- Very good documentation skills
- This position does not have direct reports but may mentor less experienced associates in the role.
