Description
- A medical representative promotes and sells pharmaceutical products to healthcare specialists, such as doctors and pharmacists.
- They provide information about various products' benefits, usage and dosage, to increase product awareness and sales.
- Promote and sell company products to healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, and hospitals, within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and healthcare providers to influence prescribing habits and increase product awareness.
- Conduct product presentations and discussions with healthcare professionals, utilizing scientific evidence and clinical data to support product claims and differentiation.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including formulary inclusion and product adoption initiatives, to drive sales growth and market share within the territory.
- Plan and execute strategic territory management activities, including regular visits to healthcare facilities, pharmacies, and medical conferences, to maximize customer engagement and sales effectiveness.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback using the company's CRM system.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, medical affairs, and sales management, to align strategies and execute promotional campaigns effectively.
- Stay updated on developments in healthcare, pharmacology, and the company's product portfolio through continuous training, self-study, and participation in medical conferences and seminars.
