**Job Opportunity: HVAC Technician - Pharma Vaccine Manufacturing**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems for cleanrooms, laboratories, production areas, and packaging areas, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Maintain critical HVAC systems in sterile environments, aseptic processing areas, and other controlled environments in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handling units (AHUs), cooling towers, and exhaust systems.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Environmental Management Systems (EMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), and other HVAC control systems.
- Ensure temperature, humidity, and air pressure control within specified limits to meet the needs of various pharmaceutical processes, including vaccine production.
- Handle filter cleaning, changeover, and calibration of HVAC components, ensuring that air quality and cleanliness standards are met.
- Regularly inspect and maintain HVAC systems’ components, including filters, coils, dampers, and other related parts, ensuring optimal performance.
- Provide support for commissioning, validation, and qualification of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet industry regulatory standards.
- Oversee maintenance of backup power systems like gensets, ensuring uninterrupted operation of critical HVAC functions during power failures.
- Support HVAC-related capital projects, such as the installation or upgrading of HVAC systems in new or expanded facilities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, ISO, and other regulatory guidelines related to HVAC systems in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

**Education, Expertise, and Skills**:

- **Education**: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, or a related technical field.
- **Expertise**:

- Strong experience (3+ years) working as an HVAC Technician in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industries.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC systems in cleanrooms, controlled environments, and sterile manufacturing areas.
- Hands-on expertise in maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, and boilers.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in HVAC system monitoring and control using Building Management Systems (BMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
- Skilled in cleaning, replacing, and maintaining air filters, humidifiers, cooling towers, and other HVAC components.
- Experience with air quality control and environmental monitoring in sterile or aseptic areas.
- Expertise in handling and maintaining HVAC systems for controlled environments, ensuring temperature, humidity, and air pressure meet industry standards.
- Familiarity with computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking and scheduling HVAC maintenance and repairs.
