
Cashier/accounts Executive

**Job Summary**: The Cashier/ Accounts Executive will manage the financial transactions of the Hyundai car dealership, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and supporting the Finance Manager in budgeting and auditing processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Financial Transactions**:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger.
- Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner.
- **Reconciliation**:
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed on a daily basis.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- **Reporting**:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports as required by management.
- Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management.
- **Compliance**:
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai dealership financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
- Assist in audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
- **Data Management**:
- Maintain an organized filing system for all financial documents.
- Safeguard sensitive financial information and ensure data accuracy.
- **Support Functions**:
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Provide support in developing financial strategies and long-term planning.
- Support the Accounts Manager in any additional tasks or projects as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Executive or in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
