Social Media Copywriter

**Job Summary**:
We're seeking a creative Social Media Copywriter to craft captivating posts that resonate with our audience and drive engagement. This role requires a balance of creativity, storytelling, and strategic thinking.

You'll be at the heart of our content strategy, crafting compelling written content and managing our social media presence. You'll work closely with the marketing and creative teams to develop engaging copy that resonates with our target audience across various social media platforms.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Develop and execute social media content strategies that align with our brand voice, target audience, and marketing objectives.
- Write and edit engaging, informative, and shareable copy for social media posts, ads, captions, and headlines across various platforms.
- Create and curate visually appealing and on-brand content, including images, videos, and infographics, to accompany social media posts.
- Stay updated with industry trends, current events, and social media best practices to ensure our content remains relevant and timely.
- Collaborate with the creative & marketing team to brainstorm and create visually appealing and cohesive social media content.
- Monitor and analyse social media insights, metrics, and performance data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
- Stay abreast of emerging social media platforms and tools to identify new opportunities for reaching and engaging our target audience.
- Conduct competitor research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in our social media presence.

**What you’ll bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Copywriter or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns and content.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Instagram, Twitter & Facebook Insights).
- Knowledge of current social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
- Knowledge of the evolving and trending social media ecosystem
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
