- Supervise and manage day-to-day nursing operations in the hospital/department.
- Lead, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Prepare and maintain duty rosters, schedules, and shift allocations.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare standards, and safety protocols.
- Conduct training and orientation programs for nurses and junior staff.
- Monitor patient care delivery and handle escalations effectively.
- Maintain proper documentation, patient records, and reports.
- Coordinate with doctors, administration, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Ensure adequate stock and availability of medical supplies, equipment, and medicines.
- Conduct periodic audits, performance reviews, and quality checks.
