Nicu Staff Nurse Incharge

**Job Description / Key Responsibilities**:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the **Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)**.
- Ensure **high standards of patient care** and safety are maintained at all times.
- Monitor and guide the nursing staff in handling critically ill neonates.
- Oversee **staff scheduling, duty rosters**, and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
- Assist in developing and implementing **nursing protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures**.
- Coordinate with doctors, pediatricians, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
- Conduct **training and skill development programs** for NICU nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely **documentation** of patient records, reports, and incident logs.
- Ensure infection control practices and NICU hygiene standards are strictly followed.
- Handle audits, inventory, and equipment maintenance related to NICU.
- Report to the Nursing Superintendent / Matron on unit performance and requirements.

**Qualification**:
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing
**Experience**:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Staff Nurse Incharge or Senior Staff Nurse in NICU
- Must be a registered nurse with Maharashtra Nursing Council
