**Job Summary**:
A BDS Skin Cosmetology Specialist combines dental expertise with cosmetic dermatology skills to offer specialized treatments for skin care. They are responsible for diagnosing and treating skin conditions, performing cosmetic procedures, and providing advice on skincare to improve aesthetic appearance, while leveraging their dental training in facial aesthetics.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Aesthetic Skin Treatments**:

- Perform skin treatments such as facials, acne scar treatments, anti-aging therapies, and skin rejuvenation procedures.
- Provide advanced cosmetic treatments like chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and dermal fillers.
- Perform mínimally invasive procedures such as botox injections and thread lifting (if certified).
- Collaborate with the dermatology team for skin-related concerns and treatments.
- **Facial Aesthetic Enhancements**:

- Advise and perform smile design treatments for facial harmony and balance (e.g., botox for facial muscles).
- **Consultations & Treatment Planning**:

- Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their skincare needs, discuss concerns, and recommend suitable treatments.
- Create customized skincare and treatment plans for each patient, considering their skin type, concerns, and aesthetic goals.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and maintain ongoing communication to track results.
- **Cosmetic Dentistry and Skin Integration**:

- Provide guidance on integrating cosmetic dental procedures with skin treatments to ensure overall facial aesthetics.
- Offer treatments for patients who seek a more youthful appearance, such as teeth whitening and smile enhancements, alongside facial treatments.
- Assess facial features and recommend a combination of treatments to achieve a harmonious look.
- **Patient Education & Aftercare**:

- Educate patients on proper skincare regimens, including product recommendations and lifestyle changes for better skin health.
- Provide aftercare instructions for cosmetic treatments to ensure optimal results and reduce risks of complications.
- Track patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure all cosmetic treatments and procedures are performed safely, adhering to medical and ethical standards.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all relevant regulations and guidelines for medical and cosmetic treatments.
- Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and a hygienic environment to prevent infections and complications.
- **Collaboration with Medical Team**:

- Work closely with dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Collaborate with dental professionals for treatments that require a combined dental and skin care approach (e.g., facial aesthetics, smile enhancement).
- **Research & Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on the latest trends, treatments, and techniques in skin cosmetology and facial aesthetics.
- Attend workshops, seminars, and training to continuously improve skills and knowledge in the field of skin care and cosmetic treatments.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from a recognized institution.
- Certification or training in Skin Cosmetology, Dermatology, or Facial Aesthetics (preferably from an accredited institute).
- years of experience in cosmetic dermatology or aesthetic dentistry.
- In-depth knowledge of both dental and skin aesthetic procedures.
- Strong understanding of facial anatomy and aesthetics.

- Advanced knowledge of dermatological treatments and aesthetic procedures.
- Expertise in facial aesthetics, including Botox, dermal fillers, and skin rejuvenation.
- Strong communication skills for patient consultations and treatment explanations.

- Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals.
- Good manual dexterity for performing delicate cosmetic procedures.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
