A retail salesperson at a counter typically performs the following duties:

- **Customer service**: Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide professional service
- **Product knowledge**: Demonstrate and explain products, recommend options, and answer questions
- **Sales**: Assist customers with purchase decisions, process payments, and bag or package purchases
- **Inventory**: Retrieve merchandise from stock or other locations, place special orders, and stock shelves
- **Store operations**: Open or close cash registers, count the till, and separate coupons, charge slips, and exchange vouchers
- **Security**: Alert management of potential security issues
- **Store support**: Help with the store opening and closing process

Retail salespeople should have a good understanding of current promotions, sales events, payment and exchange policies, and security practices. They may also need to create or update customer profile records.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,162.97 - ₹15,000.00 per month
