We are currently hiring for the following roles:
1. **Design Principal** (8+ years of experience)

2. **Senior Interior Designer** (3-8 years of experience)

3. **Junior Interior Designer** (1-3 years of experience)

An Interior Designer at BlueMasons is expected to perform all the responsibilities for the Design end of a project as well as handle the execution with a team of site managers. They are equipped with a number of resources to fulfil the expected duties.

Key Responsibilities:
**1. Client Handling**: All key communications for the project - Requirements, Timelines, Edits, Material Information, Queries etc are handled by the senior designer

**2. Factory visit and coordination**:BlueMasons develops furniture in its own factory with high end machines. Designers are allowed to make maximum benefit of the facility and are expected to visit the unit after the production to approve all produced materials.

**3. Core planning of the project**:Plan and execute design decisions on the basis of client interactions. Design includes the overall civil and furniture setting as well as the design language for a project.

**4. Detailed Design Briefs**: Create and submit in depth design decisions for each zone for the process of generating 3D visuals. Design Decisions include - Structures, materials, lighting and any other relevant item pertaining to the design

**5. Material Selection**: Shortlisting and presenting the exact physical materials to be used in the project. Selection can take place in the in-house material library or at vendor stores as per requirement.

**6. Cost Balance**: A key part of the job is to stick to the budgetary and Quantity estimates provided at the start of the project. A senior designer is expected to have a basic understanding of industry pricing

**7. Team Development**: Every Designer is equipped with a team to work with them on projects. Designers are expected to contribute to the team's development.

**8. Production Documentation**: The designer is expected to develop all the prescribed documents needed for the on site as well as factory production.

**9. Execution Evaluation**: A designer is expected to monitor the progress of work on site to ensure the development is in accordance with the design. A combination of physical and virtual visits are used for the same.

**10. Timeline Management**: Every Designer at BlueMasons is usually assigned multiple projects after the first few months of training. They are expected to rationalise the use of resources in hand to deliver all projects on time.

4. Interview with the Principals and/or Founders

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
