ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performing sample collection (Phelebotomy) for the Patients.

2. Responsible for receiving, checking the particulars of specimen, requisition and processing and ensuring adequacy of the sample for testing.

3. Conducting the investigations as per requisition.

4. Operating the instruments and carrying out the tests as per procedure.

5. Running daily QC and ensuring QC results are within defined limits. Initiate corrective actions/Intimate the deviations to Technical manager based on QC review.

6. Updating of registers, following TAT on report dispatch.

7. Entering the results in LIS (laboratory information system) and put up for verification by Authorized Signatory.

8. Inform the critical/Panic results immediately to referring doctors.

9. Recording refrigerator temperature, Freezer temperature, room temperature and humidity. Running daily, weekly and monthly maintenance of all the equipment.

10. Maintain individual accountability for the equipment and items in the laboratory.

11. Upkeep & performing maintenance activities of the Lab equipment.

12. Storage and proper disposal of examined specimens as per the documented procedure (SOP).

13. Updating of materials consumption in Inventory management system.

14. Any other job assigned as per exigencies of work.

Experienced - 1 year and above/ Fresher
