Operational Risk Management is a key component of the Compliance, Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization and works globally across all lines of business (LOB) and Corporate Functions (CF) providing oversight and challenge of the firm’s compliance, conduct and operational risk management activities executed by the LOBs/CFs. Operational Risk is responsible for the design and execution of the CCOR Framework which includes establishing policies and standards that set forth the minimum requirements for LOBs/CFs regarding the identification, measurement, monitoring, management, and reporting of compliance, conduct, and operational risk.

As an Operational Risk Management Associate, you will work within the central Operational Risk Management team, providing direct support to the governance processes including the establishment and maintenance of standards, policies and guidance for LOBs/CFs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support Operational Risk Management governance activities including the review, updating and socialization of Standards that align to the requirement of the CCOR Framework.
- Analyze and review Operational Risk data to assess and measure the Operational Risk environment and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in thematic reviews on areas of high operational risk and/or emerging risks to identify potential control gaps.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to gather inputs and feedback as it pertains to the operational risk standards and governance processes.
- Work collaboratively with global team members across LOBs and Corporate Functions and participate actively in working groups.
- Assist with the preparation of materials for regional and global forums to promote business awareness of the outcomes of Operational Risk activities, and support Operational Risk engagement in regulatory deliverables.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree, required; technical or business degree strongly preferred
- 7+ years’ experience with a large financial institution (Compliance, Audit, Controls background) preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Very strong data mining and advanced analytics skills required utilizing MS Office Suite, e.g., Excel (advanced formulas, VBA), advanced PowerPoint skills, Tableau, etc.
- Ability to analyze data effectively, distill insights / themes into easily understandable terms
- Established record of careful attention to detail with tasks
- Self-starter who adapts to a fast paced and results driven environment and who is committed to put in the necessary time to meet deliverables and make escalations when appropriate
- Possess a sense of urgency, proactive, intellectual curiosity, resourcefulness, excellent analytical, problem solving skills
- Working hours 2:30 - 11:30 pm IST
