CNC Machine Operator(Tpp, Laser, Bending Machine)

**Designation**:TUREET PUNCH PRESS (TPP) OPERATOR**

Description of Post: CNC Turret Punching machine Operator Experience Minimum 4-5 years

Department: Production

Location: Bavla -Ahmedabad

Qualification: ITI Or DIPLOMA(Mechanical)

Experience: 4 to 5 Year

Industry: Sheetmetal (Preference Given To Elevator Industry)

**Key Responsibility Area (Role and Responsibilities)**:

- Maintain Clean and Safe work environment in Production shop floor ,Need to raise risk observation and Monitor closure of same, Maintain 5S in Production Shop floor
- Take daily morning meeting with workmen and allocate work to Team
- Training to Workmen for multiskilling and other training related to quality Problems for example CNC Laser Operators to TPP Machines or assembly Vice a versa, which is useful in case of unbalance work load and in case of absenteeism
- Undertaking regular daily and weekly preventative maintenance on the machines
- Must be knowledgeable and experienced with CNC programming, setting and operating Laser or Punch Press Machines (Amada desirable)
- Ensure CAD/programming work is completed in a quality manner. This includes tracking programming errors (wrong material, wrong revision, incorrect bend allowance, etc.) and reporting each month to management
- Coordinate quick and efficient resolution of CAD/programming issues and delegate corrective action required.
- Maintain and ensure CAD/CNC files are up to date and contain only the latest revision levels. Ensure that any old revision files that must be maintained are kept in an archive file.
- Monitor punch programs to ensure parts are manufactured efficiently
- Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set-up sheets
- Work with other programmers to ensure programming parameters are being programmed correctly. Maintain these parameters and ensure all programmers are utilizing these parameters consistently
- Responsible for creating programs / nesting using software for the Amada Turret or Laser
- Responsible for reviewing drawings and specifications for accuracy to develop sheet metal programs for CNC punch, laser and press brake operations.
- Maintaining all tooling libraries and equipment for daily operation.
- Experience and knowledge of setting up and operating CNC turret punch press machines.
- Select correct punches and dies based on material thickness and type
- Set up, program and verify new processes utilizing Amada AP100 as a programming tool.
- Quality Control parts with tools such as callipers and tape measures to ensure tolerances are held according to customer drawings and specifications - First off inspections
- Knowledge of reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings
- Assist in minimizing wasted material -Controlling Rejection and Rework -Maximum Utilization Of Sheet
- Material & Man Power Planning

Experience : 4 to 5 Year

Industry : Sheetmetal (Preference Given To Elevator Industry)

- Must be able to work overtime as needed, daily and weekends
- Must be able to use various equipment such as calipers, micrometers and tape measure.
