**Introduction**:
The Markets Electronic Business Manager is a key partner to the SM&D, providing critical business support to the various senior leaders as well as working under the direction and steer of the current Senior Electronic Business Manager in terms of book of work priorities. Additionally, as a trusted partner and representative of the Electronic business, the business manager would be a critical representative and face-off to multiple partners including Trading, Sales, eTrading Compliance, eMarket Risk, Infrastructure and Legal on a range of multi-faceted issues.

In addition, there is also a clear focus on supporting various project initiatives. These would entail supporting Electronic Business Reviews, Investment Funding Submissions, Data Science Governance and various other asset class specific analytical deep dives based on business need. Other projects would also include Electronic Governance oversight regarding eTrading processes across asset classes for proper adherence to the firm Standards. Responsibilities would also include key vendor onboarding management and support with commercial negotiations, critical to supporting the SM&D businesses growth plans.

The business manager would be required to be involved in regular daily activities of running the SM&D business. These would involve various aspects of BCM planning and coordination, service level agreement execution with internal service companies, market data and infrastructure costing and cost oversight, MIFID2 requirements related to self-assessment and stress testing, internal audit coordination and management of action points as well as establishing and running overall governance processes for SM&D.

The seat will provide operating leverage to the Senior Electronic Business Manager and SM&D team leads supporting strategic and economic decision-making, assistance in business plan creation, key performance indicator tracking and future strategy of the business across relevant markets, regions and sectors.

**What will you be doing?**
- Provide operating leverage to Statistical Modelling and Development team leads, as well as the Senior Electronic Business Manager, supporting decision making, growth and future strategy of the businesses across relevant markets
- Key contact for MI creation and automation for the Electronic BM team
- Represent the business whilst liaising with other functions and clusters of the firm on BAU matters as well as strategic priorities, risk and control initiatives, remediation efforts
- Maintain the governance structure and risk and control forums for SMAD as well as for Markets Electronic Trading Platform

**What we’re looking for**:

- Understanding of the Markets business
- Direct experience of Business Management role
- Executing business strategy
- Excellent Stakeholder management and relationship building at regional business and functional leadership level
- Evidence of successful collaboration in a global, geographically dispersed environment

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- 3+ years of Business Management experience, preferably in a Markets Trading coverage role
- Prior experience in Quantitative Analytics, modelling or other financial engineering type roles would be favourable
- Project management background running large cross division projects preferred
