- Work Closely with Development Teams with Regards to Database Updates and Design
- Must write SP, function, Triggers, Tables, View etc.
- Performance Tuning and Optimization for database and server level
- How to solve the performance bottleneck using Query Store
- Extensive experience writing T-SQL and stored procedures and query tuning on high transaction systems.
- Proficient with SQL server profiler for monitoring and troubleshooting database activity and performance.
- Good knowledge of Indexes, Execution plan and missing indexes
- Must know the DMV to find the culprit.
- Improve performance using wait statistics.
- Knowledge of SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS)
- Create automation process for daily tasks.
- Must have knowledge of ETL.
- Comfortable Working with Production Servers

- Take care of the Database design and implementation
- Database tuning and performance monitoring
- Prevention of the deadlock and Timeouts
- SQL Performance Improvement
- SQL Database coding standards
- Bug tracking
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Data analysis
- Data extracting and import
- Data management
- Creation of SP, Functions, Triggers using T-SQL with proper logic

**Good to have**:

- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft Azure SQL Database
- Implement and maintain database security
- SSIS for the ETL operations and Data Migration
- SSAS for data warehouse
- SSRS and Power BI for Reports
- Data backup and retrieval (Point-in-time Recovery)
