A furniture draftsman, also known as a furniture designer or CAD technician, is responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for furniture design and production. Here is a general job description for this role

**Responsibilities**:
1) Develop detailed drawings and plans for furniture design using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

2) Collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to translate design concepts into technical drawings.

3) Ensure that designs meet quality and safety standards, as well as manufacturing requirements.

4) Prepare and modify drawings based on feedback and requirements.

5) Create prototypes and models to test and evaluate designs.

6) Provide technical support and guidance to production teams.

7) Stay updated with industry trends and new technology in furniture design and production.

**Requirements**:
1) Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs.

2) Knowledge of furniture design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

3) Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.

4) Experience in creating BOM/BOQ for furniture projects

5) Experience in furniture design or drafting.

6) Familiarity with woodworking techniques and materials.

7) Knowledge of 3D software.

**Salary**: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
