Property Valuer

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect properties and gather relevant data (location, condition, size, amenities, etc.)
- Analyze comparable property data, market trends, and economic influences
- Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports
- Provide valuation services for a range of purposes including sales, investments, mortgages, litigation, taxation, and insurance
- Liaise with clients, banks, legal professionals, and real estate agents
- Ensure compliance with relevant local and national laws, RICS (or equivalent body) standards, and ethical codes
- Keep up to date with changes in the property market, valuation regulations, and building codes
- Use valuation tools and software to assist in accurate assessments
- Attend professional training and development programs as needed

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or B. Arch.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, API, or country-specific licensing/accreditation) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in property valuation
- Strong knowledge of property laws, zoning regulations, and construction practices
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and report-writing skills
- Proficient in MS Office and valuation software (e.g., ValEx, CoreLogic, PropertyIQ)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site inspections

**Preferred Skills**:

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in both residential and commercial property valuation
- Familiarity with automated valuation models (AVMs)
- Negotiation and client-handling experience
