Financial Controller

Principal accountabilities are:
Planning

1.Effective management systems for AP and AR

2.Engage in a systematic approach towards collecting fees from clients and working with

other departments in ensuring that proactive steps are taken

3.Manage the capital request and budgeting processes

4.Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction

5.Preparation of Budgets of the various departments.

6.Create and assess financial statements and budget documents.

7.Provide the CEO with an operating budget. Work with the CEO to ensure programmatic

success through cost analysis support, and compliance with all contractual and

programmatic requirements.

8.Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the

organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports,

development and monitoring of organizational and contract/budgets

9.Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard financial assets of the

organization.

10.Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.

11.Ensuring all compliances in the US and India are met for all the group companies

Operations

1.Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions

2.Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team

3.Train the Finance Unit and the team on raising awareness and knowledge of financial

management matters.

4.Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team

5.Oversee the financial operations and foreign operations

6.Oversee the company's transaction processing systems

7.Implement operational best practices

8.Cash flow management, revenue reports, financial & operational reporting to the

management (MIS)

9.Investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization

may offer employees and potential employees with the goal of attracting and retaining

qualified individuals.

10.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan

is in places

Financial Information

1.Managing the financial, banking activities

2.Oversee the issuance of financial information

3.Report financial results to the board of directors

Risk Management

1.Ensuring proper reporting, planning, payment to authorities and timely filing of tax

compliances

2.Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile

3.Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the

industry

4.Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

5.Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government

agencies

6.Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and

recommendation

7.Managing the Statutory audit and other statutory obligations (Company affairs) with

external auditors and service providers

8.Responsible for the statutory compliance of the company

9.Ensure adequate controls are installed and that substantiating documentation is

approved and available such that all purchases may pass independent and governmental

audits.

Third Parties

1.Monitor banking activities of the organization and maintain banking relationships

2.Represent the company with investment bankers

3.Review company contracts and agreements

4.Vendor management

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per year
