**About the Role**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical **Finance Executive** to join our finance and accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling key accounting functions, ensuring timely financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and supporting audit processes. This position is critical in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and integrity of our financial data and reports.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Transaction & Journal Management**

Post journal entries and ledger transactions accurately in accordance with internal financial policies.

Ensure that daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions are recorded promptly and reflect true business activity.

**Financial Reconciliation**

Assist with periodic reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy of recorded transactions.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial data and support the month-end close process.

**Financial Reporting**

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet, for internal review and external stakeholders.

Support the preparation of consolidated reports and financial statements for management review.

**Statutory Compliance & Taxation**

Ensure timely submission and payment of statutory dues such as GST, TDS, PF, and others as applicable.

Maintain compliance with local, regional, and national regulations and coordinate with external consultants for statutory returns.

**Audit Support**

Liaise with internal and external auditors by preparing necessary schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents.

Ensure smooth execution of audit processes and timely closure of audit observations.

**Policy & Process Adherence**

Follow standard accounting procedures, internal controls, and company-specific guidelines.

Contribute to process improvements and standardization to enhance operational efficiency.

**Data Analysis & Accuracy**

Analyze account data and provide insights to support business decisions.

Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, report generation, and compliance documentation.

**Qualifications & Skills**

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

1-4 years of experience in core finance and accounting functions.

Working knowledge of Tally, SAP, or other ERP systems preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools for analysis and reporting.

Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

**Preferred Attributes**

Experience supporting audits (Statutory/Internal).

Exposure to multi-entity financial operations or shared service environments.

Proactive problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
