**Profile Introduction**:
As an Academic Counsellor at our Junior College, you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting students throughout their academic journey. This dynamic position requires a passionate individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of educational pathways, and the ability to provide insightful guidance to students aiming for success in their academic pursuits.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Student Guidance**: Provide personalized academic counseling to students, helping them navigate through course selections, career choices, and personal development.
- **Career Counseling**: Offer guidance on career options, conduct aptitude tests, and help students explore potential career paths aligned with their interests and abilities.
- **Monitor Academic Progress**: Track and assess students' academic performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing intervention strategies when necessary.
- **Conflict Resolution**: Mediate and resolve academic or personal conflicts among students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- **Collaboration with Faculty**: Work closely with teachers and administrators to stay updated on curriculum changes, educational trends, and academic programs to better advise students.
- **Parental Involvement**: Foster communication with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on their child's academic progress and offering guidance on how they can support their child's educational journey.

**Requirements**:

- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in counseling or education counseling would be an advantage.
- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- **Empathy and Patience**: The ability to empathize with students' concerns and exhibit patience while guiding them through decision-making processes.
- **Knowledge of Educational Systems**: A solid understanding of the education system, college admissions processes, and various career paths.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficient in using educational technology and counseling tools.

- English, Hindi and Marathi**

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
